“I Longobardi in Italia” is a group of sites belonging to the UNESCO Heritage foundation. This year, to spread awareness about the legacy of the ancient Longobardi folk, Longobardi in Italia and Gummy Industries joined forces to make a Roleplay Campaign based on the most famous RPG Dungeons&Dragons. In this project, I had the opportunity to design the art direction and the Campaign Book, scripted by Giada Taribelli and Emilio Palmerini, and illustrated by Francesco Mazziotta.
The campaign was played inside the Museo di Santa Giulia, in Brescia, in a special event free of charges. The event went sold out and the museum hosted more than 100 people, players and game masters, who used the Campaign Book to ropleplay the game. At the end of the game, a copy of the Campaign Book has been gifted to the players, so that they can play the campaign again with their friends.
