Twenty generative posters about the Pokemon trading card game and booster packs, visualizing the chances of finding rare cards. The data has been taken from the famous TCG online market Cardmarket.
The rarest and most valuable pokemon cards have been taken into consideration, along with their market value, their drop rate (the chances of obtaining that card) and the cost of their expansion pack. Each poster is a simulation of an “unboxing”, showing the user how many packs (and money) it takes them to obtain a certain rare card, and how much money they lost, or gained.
The goal of the project is to create awareness on the strong parallelism between trading card games and gambling.
